Pattern for diy Ivy leaves, perfect charm baubles for the tide of Beltane - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - The five pointed Ivy, both magickal and a sacred tree to us druids (Yes Ivy is a tree) The Ivy month is linked to spiders (Arachne) wolves, the god Anubis, the Nornes/three fates, the Wyrd, Ellen of the Ways and mother Freya (Frigga). In astrology there was actually 13 star signs (each 28 days in duration) and this star sign was the spider Arachne. With the 12 signs astrology the Ivy is now associated with a combination of Leo and Virgo. Ivy symbolic alone can be a focal point of healing and even lending courage, connecting to the goddess weaver. It is a tree I use in many festive's including Beltane, that said I have only young Ivy trees that still need to establish. So I have opted to crochet vegan Ivy leaves here for symbolic decor purpose. From chapter 'crochet' What I Used;
