Pattern for diy oak leaves, perfect charm baubles for the tide of Beltane and in honor of the greenman - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - Perfect compliment to acorns are the oak leaves. Both a magickal and sacred tree to us druids, so much so that the word druid stems from the name of the Oak 'Druir'. The oak leaf symbolically alone can be a focal point of ancient knowledge, doorways into the mystery's, fertility, mother earth, Persephone, Venus, the maiden goddess and the bull. It is a tree I use in many festive's including both spring and Beltane/summer, that said I have no access to any Oak trees where I am, so I have opted to crochet vegan Oak leaves here for symbolic decor purpose. This time I have included pictures of my pattern creation process which includes many attempts and corrections. Once I'm happy with the directions an result, I then sketch out my pattern. These leaves can be made to stand alone or paired off into a duo leaf hang and I have included instructions for such at the end. From chapter 'crochet' What I Used;
