Pattern for diy magick mushrooms, perfect charm baubles for the tide of Beltane - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - Ahh magick mushrooms... Also called Maga (the great gift) the root word of magick and the Greeks called it Ambrosia (not mortal). This is a witchy herb that reminds me of both Bealtane & Litha 'Summer' masculine, aligned with air and the planet Mercury. Used as a fertility charm and or to aid in astral travel (the latter of which is risky however being a poison) this is the legendary herb of Immortality This vegan yarn made mushroom however is totally safe. A sachet of ground witching herbs can also be added to actually make this bauble a witchy charm under a bealtane tree or on the altar. Personally I like crushing dried wormwood (the fae absinthe plant) bay laurel and a nightshade plant - poured into a muslin bag and stuffed into baubles like these to assist actual magick work such as dream walking. These are from the Bealtane celebrations here in Australia late last year, in time for the coming tide in the North May the 1st. From chapter 'crochet' What I used;
Stitches Used;
White stem (bottom up) and stuffing;
Mushroom red cap (from top down) with white dots;
Mushroom red cap and stalk assembly;
