Macrame Floating shelves for a vanity made with chunky yarn and Brunswick green painted 2by4's - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - When one has a small vanity with no storage a floating macrame shelf comes in handy. Not just practically but also decoratively. One could use plain knots but I chose a spiral knot that reminds me of ancestral DNA. It's made simply be repeating square knots without alternating the leading cords right to left. I just repeated right leading cord square knots for the lengths and a normal double knot to secure coconut beads under each shelf, to prevent excess shelf movement or slide. I substituted normal macrame cord for a thick yarn by Lionbrand 'Hometown USA' From chapter 'furnished' What I Used;
